  While this is a nice and modern hotel in a convenient area, I would not choose to stay here on my own. It has no faults of its own just not my style of hotel. They seem to be trying to appeal to a hipster type of customer with their decor and layout. Still, despite the loud music and the subdued lighting in the lobby, and the strange but still functional room layout, I did appreciate the courtesy of the staff and the amenities offered. Shoppers will like the Tanger Outlets down the road.

  Aesthetically, it was a really pretty hotel and was very modern. This was also the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. There was a dog somewhere near me that I think someone left alone in the room from 8pm until midnight. Our rooms were connected via the vents in the bathroom and the dog may as well been barking in my room. Additionally, I heard every noise near and around my room. At least 3 times during the one night I stayed there is sounded like someone was trying to enter my room, but was likely someone just leaving their room nearby. Finally, the bed felt like a really nice mattress topper on top of a cardboard box. Overall, I don't think I'd stay here again. The looks did not outweigh the failure of comfort.

  Convenient location, 15-25 min drive to downtown historic district. Clean and comfortable & friendly staff.
